This website has been tested in the latest versions of all major browsers.
And here are my unsolicited suggestions about browsers:
Apple's Safari is a pleasure to use and has many advanced features.
Rapidly gaining on Internet Explorer is Firefox.
Google's Chrome is based on Safari.
These three browsers lead the way in rendering the latest web standards, including background gradient.
somersetvoice.co.uk uses the background gradient as well as rounded corners and, at this time, only these browsers can render them all properly. I therefore suggest using one of these.
Opera is a light and fast browser, but I have not yet written gradient background into the style sheet.
Internet Explorer is one I never use and try to stay away from. No link and no other comments!

The website is non-commercial; I edit it as a labour of love because I am very concerned about the way things seem to be going, particularly for small businesses and consumers.
